Thank you to everyone who participated in the Parish Reverse Advent Calendar Project!  Contributions were received Saturday 4 January and were delivered to the local Food Cupboard in Blackburn Hamlet.  Approximately 50 families participated which resulted in significant provisions to their shelves at this time of year.  They were so grateful for the generosity of our parish.  Thank you to all the volunteers who assisted with the loading and delivery of the boxes.  And finally, a huge shout out goes to Paul Rushforth Real Estate, Inc. Brokerage who made their cube van available to us once again – it was a real time saver and we thank you very much for your kind community service to our outreach project. For those who did not deliver their box of items, you may bring them to the church during office hours and they will be delivered to the Food Cupboard in the normal delivery cycle.
